"WE WILL BE A PREMIERSHIP CLUB BY 2010" - Walton is a very ambitious club and is always looking for keen individuals to join. There are few nicer places to play cricket and the club is thriving with talent with numerous Colts now integrating into the seniors. We run 3 league sides on a Saturday, an under 21 side & Friendly side on a Sunday(which runs until the end of September) plus we'll be entering a side into the Surrey indoor league this winter.
If you are interested in joining please make sure you register and drop Matthew Howells an e-mail howells_matt@hotmail.com to express your interest.
2008 was a mixed Season with several new players joining the club and old faces returning Despite the strength in depth the league positions for the 2nd and 3rd XI were disappointing (both succumbing to final day relegation from the premiership), however the 1st XI finished 4th in a very strong first division. The 3rd XI groomed a huge amount of talented colts players into men's cricket, which will help to bolster the strength in depth at the club for the future.
It is a fantastic club with the player base growing every year, investment in facilities and coaching and a thriving and talented colts section.
